Arkansas has one of the finest systems of parks in the nation. There are six natural divisions in the state, Ozark Mountains, Arkansas River Valley, Ouachita Mountains, Gulf Coastal Plain, Mississippi Delta, and Crowley’s Ridge.
A large number of state parks offer a variety of hiking trails for people of all ages and physical strength. You will find one of the nation’s finest fishing and boating combinations in the area; the White River and Bull Shoals Lake.
In addition, Northwest Arkansas has some of the best golf courses in the region.
